Mentor Role Description
As a mentor, you'll share your experience of starting a business from the ground up, provide lessons learned, and guide mentees through their 6-month program.
Mentor Responsibilities
Mentors are responsible for:
- Representing the needs and values of the organization
- Guiding mentees with the support of Led by TRUTH's CEO
- Providing feedback and advice
- Being available during identified mentorship times
Mentor Qualifications
Led by TRUTH is currently recruiting Mentors that consists of:
- Identifies as Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (BIPOC)
- Current business owner
- Desire to mentor Entrepreneurs of Color
- Belief in Led by TRUTH's mission
- Good communication skills
- Strong coaching/mentoring skills
Advisor Overview
Advisor Role Description
As an advisor, you will provide key insights and support to mentees, helping them grow and understand their business better.
Advisor Responsibilities
Advisors are responsible for:
- Representing the needs and values of the organization
- Guiding entrepreneurs through key business needs
- Providing feedback and advice
- Available during consultation times and workshops
Advisor Qualifications
Led by TRUTH is currently recruiting Advisors that consists of:
- Identifies as Black, Indigenous, and a Person of Color (BIPOC)
- Expertise in Finance/Accounting, Fundraising, Marketing/Branding, Legal, IT, Investments, Partnership Development, Strategic Planning, or Selfcare
- Belief in Led by TRUTH's mission
- Good communication skills
- Strong coaching/consulting skills
